How to protect our Earth from pollution?

Environmental pollution is worldwide known. It is time to announce that it is global problem. Most countries try to cope with this problem, nevertheless, it still exists. Environmental pollution has increased because of urbanization and industrialization along with economic development. There are such types of pollution as water, air, soil, light and noise. All of them have harmful influence on our health and Earth condition at all. If all countries do the simple steps below, it will really help the Earth.

         So, the first step is the rule of three “R”: reducing, recycling and reusing, of course. Such rule must be followed by all the countries, because it indeed works. There is no doubt that if we all recycle, reuse or reduce consumption, it will decrease all types of pollution. 

         The second step is to involve volunteers in cleanups in the community, for instance, in protecting the watershed.

The third step is to use less water. It can help countries save stocks of water. Some countries indeed need some water.

         The next step is being worldwide aware of environmental protection. Children should accustom to follow environmental habits from their childhood. They also should find out the value of the natural resources.

         Then, buy less plastic and bring a reusable shopping bag. It is also significant to use long-lasting light bulbs.

One more thing that all the people can do easily is to plant a tree. Everyone knows that trees provide food and oxygen and help clean the air. Unfortunately, such an easy thing is not followed in an appropriate way. The same situation is with driving less. It can really help our Earth. Nevertheless, most people don’t realize the benefit from that.

         All things considered, changes start with us. You, me, someone’s friend… Put it simply, everyone should follow the above steps to increase the life span for our next generation. If  not us, then, who?
