What is recycling for us ?  Five people from two different countries are in  one group to get to know what we can do for our planet today. Alona, Yana and Viktoria are from Ukraine, Kyiv. They study English and German, but they are very in environmental protection. Marcelo and Victor are from Spain, Valencia. They both study chemistry and want to learn more about recycling. We all know that  RECYCLING is the process of converting waste into new, useful products. Waste materials that can be recycled include plastic bottles, paper, cardboard, food and drink cans, trays, tabs, food and beverages cartons, and aluminum foils. Although recycling has been going on for the past few years, recycling efforts need to be increased considering the amount of waste disposed of every day. But do we recycle in Ukraine? How to protect our Earth from pollution? Environmental pollution is worldwide known. It is time to announce that it is global problem . Most countries try to cope with this problem, nevertheless, it still exists. Environmental pollution has increased because of urbanization and industrialization along with economic development. There are such types of pollution as water, air, soil, light and noise. All of them have harmful influence on our health and Earth condition at all. If all countries do the simple steps below, it will really help the Earth.          So, the first step is the rule of three “R”: reducing, recycling and reusing , of course. Such rule must be followed by all the countries, because it indeed works.
